Isle of Eigg  the light & the land, Portfolio 15

The bay of laig

Spending half a week on the north west side of Eigg gave me the opportunity to photograph it under varying light conditions.

One late afternoon, I spent half an hour in the middle of a storm, photographing the isle of Rum from the shores of the bay of Laig. The light changed dramatically during the half hour period, with moments when Rum was invisible through the storm that approached towards the bay.

It was an enlightening time. Often I will seldom shoot during a storm, but it was interesting to compare the shots with the previous days exploration of the beach.
