Wandering the streets and Souks of Marakech in search of the definitive photograph, I came away feeling frustrated. The Arabic culture does not sit well with the concept of people-photography.

Due to religious beliefs, no-one wanted to have their photograph taken.

But Marakech is a photographers paradise as well as hell. On one side of the coin, there is a potential photograph on every street corner, while on the other side of the coin, no one is a willing participant.

I love street photography. Your senses become heightened by everything that is happening around you, and Marakech was sensory overload.

At a price.
