| Lofoten Islands Situated above the Arctic circle, I was surprised by the warm summer nights, where the midnight sun gave me plenty of time to explore. With my father fast asleep in his tent by 11pm, I would venture out until 3 or 4am in our hired car. The trip was always fun. Sometimes you'd see a couple walking their dog at 2am. Such is the briefness of their summer; most Norwegians take full advantage of it. In a place halfway between day and night, tired but also full of wonder, I spent many happy hours photographing Norway's Lofoten islands. |
