Ice Cap The Viedma Ice cap is a spectacular region of Patagonia, accessible only by permit and a trained guide. This is the closest I've come to having an Antarctic-like experience. The light conditions were superb during my six day adventure on the ice. |

Torres del Paine National Park, Chile The Paine Massif is so impressive that you can see it from miles away. The park contains Towering granite columns, glacial lagoons and a hiking network of world class standard with fabulous views of this remarkable landscape. Some places deserve repeated visits, and Torres del Paine is one of them. I've been twice now, and still feel that I haven't photographed all that it provides. |

Los Glaciares National Park, Argentina The Fitzroy Massif situated on the outskirts of the small service town El Chalten is Argenina's answer to Torres del Paine. Both parks are of equal stunning scenery. Los Glaciares is an incredibly large park that contains the mountains Fitzroy and Cerro Torre in the north and the spectacular Perito Moreno glacier in the south. |
